Pork Loin Steaks With Caramelised Apple

Ingredients
- 20g butter
- 15ml spoon brown sugar
- 2 granny smith apples, peeled and quartered
- 4 prime pork loin steaks
- 60ml crème fraiche
- sage/thyme
- salt/pepper
Method
- Melt butter and sugar together. Add the apple quarters and cook gently for 5 mins, until the apple is golden and tender. Remove and keep warm.
- Fry the pork steaks over a moderate heat for 5-6 mins each side until cooked through.
- Stir in the crème fraiche and herbs, season to taste.
- Serve with the apples.
