Ingredients
- 150g plain flour
- 150g porridge oats
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- ½ tsp baking powder
- 150g light brown sugar
- 50g raisins
- 1 egg, lightly beaten
- 125ml vegetable oil
- 4 tbsp milk
Method
- Preheat oven to 200ºC.
- Mix together the flour, oats, ginger, baking powder, sugar and raisins in a large bowl.
- In another bowl, mix together the egg, oil and milk.
- Make a well in the dry ingredients and pour in the egg mixture. Mix togther well to make a soft dough.
- Place spoonfuls of the dough well apart onto a baking sheet and flatten slightly. Bake until golden, about 10 minutes.
- Eat!
